I am Ishii, a president of Asahi Engineering Co., Ltd. We are a semiconductor manufacturing equipment manufacturer and we do direct business with the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers. It is not a subcontractor. We have employees who has been working for more than 20 years. The people they seek are "youth who can always think positively". We are a global company.

I belong to the mold design section.

Please tell me what makes your job worthwhile.

There are many customers who come to the company that are required for accuracy, which other companies could not do, so we sometimes develop and provide technology that only we have, so we are acting as mass-produced goods I'm proud of not being.

Please tell me the decisive factor that you joined.

I graduated from a mechanical department at a university, so this company itself had a mechanical design department and a mold design section, and the best thing I thought of joining this company was that I could make use of what I learned at the university. That's why.

What is your job worth doing now?

I think it would be challenging if it could be operated as requested by the customer.

Where do you feel you have grown up after entering the company?

I have the confidence that I can go abroad unexpectedly because I sometimes go abroad on business trips and sometimes because of program technology.

It's a free place where you can work at your own pace because everyone is friendly, kind, and the break time is not fixed at any time.

What are you doing on holidays?

I have a training gym near the company, so I'm doing muscle training with people from the company. It is very easy to use because there are many people at the company and it is right next to the company.

How do you want to be in the company from now on?

Since my work is programming, it is often difficult, and I think that it is still incomplete and subtle to complete it completely by myself, so I want to be able to leave my work with confidence.

It is a big thing that can be done through the device. Semiconductors are used in many things around us, but when we think that each of them is related to the equipment we make, it feels worthwhile that we are doing something very big for society. You.

I was interested in overseas, so I chose the current company from these two points, "Overseas" and "Semiconductor".

Have you grown up in the company?

It's my study days. When I first entered, I had no knowledge of semiconductors, and I couldn't speak English better than before.

Please tell me your failure story at work.

It is the part related to "spinach (report / contact / consultation)" which is important for work, but it is necessary to give instructions to those in charge of the company through overseas customers and overseas staff to make adjustments. I haven't had enough communication with each one and have had problems.

I am still learning my work, so I work every day with the desire to learn more and more.

What was difficult in your work?

You don't make mistakes one by one, sometimes you drop things in a small way, right? It was very hard to get rid of it.

I am glad as a baseball enthusiast to be able to watch SoftBank Hawks games for free at the company's annual reserved seat. Barbecue can also be done with in-house welfare programs, so if you like barbecue, such a system is very helpful.
